Tour description:
The Balkan Tour 2 takes you through northern Greece, Bulgaria, and Romania. Our Balkan journey begins in Greece (Igoumenita). You can reach us either by ferry or by road. If you have two more weeks, we also recommend our Balkan Tour 1 book/ebook. We've tried to include the most beautiful motorcycle routes and sights in this tour.
The length of each stage depends somewhat on the sights, delays due to ferries, or road conditions (winding).

12 day trips (approx. 3100 km of paved roads)
Season: End of April to November
Accommodation:
Our guidebook also lists accommodations, and we always try to offer campsites, guesthouses, and hotels at the end of each day's stage. We strive to find motorcycle-friendly accommodations and place great importance on features like motorcycle garages (secure parking), restaurants, and a pleasant atmosphere. This isn't always possible, though!
On this trip, however, you can completely forgo camping, as there are plenty of accommodations available, and they are quite affordable in Bulgaria and Romania.
